Guests of the Farm-2-Table Event Enjoy the Evening Tuesday, June 22.

LAS CRUCES -- The Hispano and Green Chambers of Commerce recently organized  a very successful "Farm-2-Table Dinner and Movie" event at De Le Vega's Pecan Grill & Brewery.

The objective of the event was to educate both Hispano and Green chamber members, as well as the public at large, about the local food shed and introduce them to local growers in Doña Ana County.

More than 50 people attended the event, including Hispano and Green Chamber board members, City Councilors, congressional representatives and other members of the community.

NMSU Outdoor provided entertainment for the evening with a special showing of "Wild Water."

The event was organized with the generous sponsorship of Los Poblanos Organics (Veggies/Produce), Maynard Cattle Co. (Steaks), Rio Grande Vineyards and Winery (Wine), NMSU Outdoor (Film), De La Vega's (Our Host) and the Las Cruces Bulletin (Media Partner).
