Nearly 150 people turned out Friday, September 16 for the Hispano Chamber's annual golf scramble! A celebration of Mexican Independence Day began in the early afternoon with a beer tasting event under the pavillion at Sonoma Ranch Golf Course. Guests were treated with samplings of varieties of imported mexican beers. Shortly thereafter, golfers gathered for a shotgun start. Meanwhile, volunteers were back at the pavillion busily setting up for the evening fiesta and silent auction. Around 7pm, golfers and their guests gathered for a one-of-a-kind party, complete with raffle prizes, silent auction, and pinata contest.
